How do I make the most of my wedding show experience?

Bring a Notebook or prepare an Engaged Reminders list on your phone to jot down notes and store any juicy information collected like the #engageddeals and booking incentives being offered from your favorite vendors so you can easily access it after the show. DreamGroup Planner Tip: Set up a fun “weddingonly” email account to use while you are planning your wedding to make it easier to keep wedding related emails organized and accessible throughout the planning.

2. Do your research before the show and check out who will be exhibiting. If you are looking for a wedding photographer or videographer for instance, be sure to check out their website beforehand to help you maximize your time and narrow down the wedding vendors you want to connect with at the show. Take time to connect with the vendors and ask questions. This is your opportunity to build your Wedding Vendor Team.

3. Bring a tote to collect any pieces of information or treats you receive and also bring bags to carry home your awesome décor and artisan pieces in if that’s what you’re coming for! For larger purchases with multiple items the Sellers may have boxes for you!

4. Arrive early so you have time to enjoy all the fun elements we are featuring like the Bouquet Gallery! This will also give you time to have quality conversations with the vendors and revel in all the pretty little details. And remember that wedding planning is supposed to be fun!

What forms of payment are accepted on the day?

Tickets at the Door (if we have any left) can be purchased through the Eventbrite Ticket App.

The Décor & Fabulous Finds area is typically cash, however some of the vendors and artisans accept credit card payments via Square.

Is it easy to get to the Pipe Shop Venue? Is there Parking nearby?

It couldn’t be easier to get to the venue and maneuver through the Shipyards district which coincidentally includes several popular wedding venues of the moment including our host the Pipe Shop Venue (you may even wish to explore these other venues while you are in the area). Paid parking is easily accessible and reasonably priced through the Pinnacle Hotel and at The Shipyards lot next door.

What's included in my ticket?

Your ticket includes access to all the fun activities and elements we are featuring including hors d’oeuvres compliments of our catering sponsor Railtown Catering, sparkling cocktails sponsored by Lavish Liquid, Cartems Donuts, lots of opportunities to win Door Prizes, playtime in the bouquet gallery, chats with our venue discovery lounge participants, cake samples, photo booth fun, beauty consultations and mini treatments with our participating hair and makeup stylists, wedding magazines, an SOS Wedding Day Gift from DreamGroup for the Bride/Groom, and of course the opportunity to snag awesome deals and find cool pieces in the decor resale area and artisan market. Vendors are offering #engageddeals some of which are too good to pass up!
